Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our wedding consists of an outdoor ceremony, aperitif, and semi-covered dinner followed by an indoor party. In case of bad weather, it will all be indoors.

  • For the welcome cruise, we suggest smart casual or cocktail attire. Since we will be on a boat, be sure to bring a jacket or scarf.

    The wedding is semi-formal: suits and cocktail dresses. Bring an outer layer/scarf in case it gets chilly outside.

  • We kindly ask that you put your phone away during the ceremony, lest it get tossed into the lake. Feel free to take pics the rest of the weekend, though!

  • The event will end at 11:30 p.m. and people not staying at the hotel will need to depart by midnight. There will be a shuttle service at the end of the night beginning at 10:30 p.m. If you plan to use the shuttles, pease update us with your accommodation address.

  • You can submit a new RSVP or send an email to Lauren, Brian, or our wedding planner: guja@gujapusterla.it mentioning our wedding in the subject line.

THE AREA

  • Yesterday :) Renew your passport ASAP! There is usually a long lead time. European travel authorizations slated for 2024 are now pushed back to 2025. Learn more here.

  • Yes. We love your kids, but due to the the limited venue seating, we decided to make both wedding related events adults-only.

  • Of course! When you respond to our RSVP form, there will be a section to let us know your special dietary requirements (gluten free/lactose free, allergies/intolerances, etc.)

  • Yes, there are a limited number of spaces at the venue, so we suggest carpooling, walking, or taking the bus. Sadly, Uber and Lyft do not exiet here. will also have a shuttle service at the end of the wedding beginning at 10:30 pm.

THE VENUE/TRAVEL

  • Yes, this is the best way to get around the lake. The C10 bus runs right near the venue. Uber and Lyft don’t exist here, and taxi service is relatively scarce, but if you prefer booking a private transfer (car/van) you can contact one of these agencies:

  • Tipping is not expected in Italy, but always well received. In some locations, you can leave tips with your card, but it’s usually done by cash.   • No! All attendees are English-speaking, as are our wedding planner and onsite coordinator. Here’s an Italian podcast we like, if you wish to brush up. Also, apps like Duolingo and Mango can be helpful for conversational phrases.
